A Honest Look at Photography Spending I’ve noticed something interesting while talking with photographers of all skill levels: we tend to use the word “investment” whenever we’re justifying a new camera, lens, or lighting setup. It’s a comforting term that somehow makes dropping several hundred dollars feel more responsible and strategic.
